After all, if you have to work remotely, why not do it from the powdery white beaches of the Baa Atoll? Nestled on this secluded reef island blessed with timeless ocean views and home to mesmerizing sea life, the Vakkaru Maldives has launched the ‘WORK WELL’ Package, a thoughtfully designed "workation experience" focused on remote working guests' wellness and wellbeing.
Don't be busy. Be productive
Offering the service of a dedicated vacation Vacay PA; a bespoke fitness and nutritional programme; tailored recreational activities; and an ocean office set-up that provides arguably the most enviable Zoom backdrop, Vakkaru Maldives’ Work Well package takes care of mind, body, soul and business from arrival till departure.
You get what you work for
Among them are a range of enhanced light- and no-touch spa treatments and rituals that will complement the resort’s most popular massages and facials. Those returning to Vakkaru will find a greater emphasis on visiting practitioners who specialise in meditation and yoga, alongside a range of transcendental sound therapies facilitated by the reverberations of crystal healing bowls. The ultimate new spa immersion is the resort’s signature Merana Healing Journey, a day-long ritual that incorporates yoga, sound healing and a rebalancing coconut shell massage.
For those inspired to improve their physical fitness, Vakkaru’s personal trainer is on hand to tailor programmes and the range of outdoor exercises on offer will include tennis, beach volleyball and family-friendly mini triathlons. Nourishing dining experiences will be available throughout Vakkaru’s restaurants, with the Vakkare symbol in menus signifying refreshing, nutritionally balanced dishes that promote good health without ever compromising on taste or satisfaction.
Teamwork makes the dream work
Entire teams can also take advantage of the Work Well package at Vakkaru Maldives. It’s possible to host meetings and workshops at the resorts “Beach Boardroom” set-up, so colleagues can enjoy barefoot meetings upon white sand beach.
Dotted across the expansive white sandy beach or set on stilts above the turquoise waters, the 113 villas offer direct access to beach or lagoon and are elegantly designed to respect the surrounding tropical nature and Maldivian charms.
Additionally, indulgent dining choices, a world-class wine cellar – home to a curated selection of fine vintage and non-vintage offerings from Old to New World as well as curated leisure activities and amenities create enriched experiences for everyone.
The Baa Atoll, is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The shallow waters of this atoll and its particular richness in corals and fish make it a mesmerizing destination for underwater excursions. These include private and marine biologist-led excursions in search of graceful manta rays and whale sharks and access to superlative diving and snorkelling sites and the blue hole, that it can be reached from Vakkaru’s beach in just a few minutes by kayak.
